ConnectTheBlocks.com is the fulfillment of a life-long dream of Peggy Benjamin to pursue a specialty retail business.  After becoming a passionate quilter, that dream narrowed down to owning and operating a quilt shop, selling fabrics and supplies to other passionate quilters and textile artists.  The rapid growth of the internet made the possibility of an online business an attainable goal, and thus ConnectTheBlocks.com was born.

Peggy began quilting in the mid-1970’s, making quilts for her young family.  Life being what it is, quilting took a back seat to other priorities for many years.  When Peggy came back to quilting in the late 1990’s, the change in the industry was astonishing, to say the least.  New tools, new fabrics, new techniques … it all seemed NEW.  Jumping in feet first, Peggy became an avid quilter.

Peggy’s love of color is reflected in the quilts she makes.  The discovery of batiks opened up new worlds of possibilities, and it is those infinite possibilities that ConnectTheBlocks.com hopes to share with you.  y "Better Half" (Rex) (aka "Shipping Department) is an active partner in the business and has recently developed a passion for designing quilts using EQ7.
