"JOY" Block of the Month

“Joy” is such a simple word, but with so many different meanings.  It can stand for delight, happiness, pleasure or enjoyment.  It can mean a source of pleasure, wonder and charm.  Or it can be a person – and in this case that person is the designer’s mother.  This quilt by Whirligig Designs was inspired by her mother’s love of family and we bet you can relate to the story as it unfolds with each block.

Our 12-month program began shipping April 11, 2013.  Each month of the program you’ll receive the pattern and fabrics needed for that month’s blocks or segments.  Most months you’ll be making two blocks; some months you’ll make 4 smaller blocks. 

This 12-month program is designed for confident beginners and experienced quilters.  The pattern requires The Easy Angle™ and Companion Angle ™ rulers.  Click on the ruler names to order these rulers.

This gorgeous quilt finishes at 89” x 106” (approximately queen size) and you’ll receive all the fabrics needed for the top and binding for $ 25.00 per month.  U.S. Postage is included in the monthly cost, and there are no additional fees, registration or otherwise.  (International customers:  We ship around the world and will bill you upfront for actual shipping charges to your country.)
