Portrait of a Lady

Don’t we all love a good story, especially when it relates to someone special in our lives?  The author of this wonderful book created this quilt to honor her mother and each block represents a special time in her mother’s life.  The story starts with a “baby bunting” block, goes through “school girl”, “bride”, “home”, “grandmother” and so on. 

Our quilt is done in all premium batiks. Your kit will include all the batiks needed to complete the top as shown, the binding, and the book that includes the pattern.  This book is also filled with other projects you may want to tackle!  The quilt finishes at 66" x 78" which is a grand size for a lap quilt - a beautiful gift for someone who has been there most of your life, cheering you on, and perhaps needs a comfort quilt to know how much you appreciate them.  Although the quilt is called "Portrait of a Lady", the fabrics we use are appropriate for a man as well.
