You'll LOVE these sweet quilts that are layer-cake friendly with NO PIECING required. Truly! These fun, easy quilts may seem a little like "cheating" because there's no piecing involved (unless you want to add borders). But the outcome to this method is an adorable quilt that looks like it took hours and hours.
The really great part of these quilts? You really, truly have a QUILT when you're done - not just a top. It's way better than a quilt-as-you-go project because there is no piecing. Using the guidelines in Pie Plate Patterns booklet you can easily come up with your own designs as well.
Three different patterns are included: "Flip Flop" which uses apple core shaped pieces and finishes at 52" x 66" without a border, "Eden" which uses apple seed shaped pieces and finishes at "63" x 73" without a border, and "Lazy River" which finishes at 57" x 71" without a border.
Love apple core quilts but don't want to cut all those shapes? Purchase one of our kits and make it easy on yourself! We die-cut the apple core pieces and you put it all together - choose between batik variety or printed brights. We include enough fabric for borders and binding.
