One of Jaybird Quilts latest creations is the Seaside Table Runner - part of her new "little patterns" line. And guess what? It's made completely from diamonds! But don't be scared - this is one truly easy design to assemble and there are no set-in or "y" seams. Honest! (We attended Julie's Schoolhouse presentation at Market and she emphatically declared that she *hates* set-in seams and "y" seams. I knew I liked that young woman!)
This pattern uses Julie's Sidekick ruler and goes together very quickly. It is so exciting (i.e., nerve-wracking) to see those little piles of diamonds piling up! And then when you start putting them together the excitement turns to pure joy as you realize "I can DO this!"
We're working on samples of kits that we've assembled for you, and each kit will be complete with all the fabrics you need for the top, back and binding. (If you need some batting to get this together quickly let us know and we'll make sure you get that as well. It will be either Warm 'n Natural or Quilter's Dream batting, whatever we have in the shop at the time.)
Until our samples are ready, choose from Seaside (replicates the pattern cover), Autumn (fall colors), Christmas (reds/greens/golds) or Hannukah (blues/grays/whites).
