This sassy wall hanging and table runner pattern will keep you in stitches! Create five unique "chicks" with attitude, and four hip flowers, sash & border them to make the top, and machine-quilt this wall hanging over a weekend, if not in a day. Funky batiks bring life to this adorable pattern. Completed with the sashing and borders shown, the result will be 41" x 53".
AND it's a "two-fer" kind of pattern: you get not only the wall hanging pattern, but a table runner pattern as well, including instructions for making a prairie-point outside border. The table runner finishes at 15" x 44".
We recommend Steam-a-Seam Lite 2 and Madeira clear or smoke monofilament thread for this project. Fuse your chicks and flowers to their backgrounds, then use the monofilament to stitch down the edges. Make this part of your quilting (instead of fusing, stitching, and then going back & quilting), and really speed up the process.
